Going to try this blogging thing again!!

Okay, so it has been a while since I've posted anything. I have decided to try the whole blogging thing again.



Let's see...... where do I start????

Well, I now live in Murfreesboro, Tn where I have met many people and have made some really good friends.

Life is going good.

Kolby is getting so big and is SUPER smart. It amazes me the things he knows. I mean, when we are driving through town he will say, "Mama, going this way to play with kids" because he knows that we are going to the gym and that he will play with the kids in the gym daycare.

Speaking of the gym. I am training for my FIRST half marathon. I am soooo excited!!! I have told almost everyone that I know. October 3rd is the big day and I can't wait. This is going to be my 27th birthday gift to myself, which will follow a fews day afterwards. I have told my friends that I want a BIG pink banner.

I guess that's all for now. I will try and keep up with the blogging this time around.

Tropical Storm Fun!

This was Kolby's first tropical storm. We thought we were going to be hit with Hurricane Fay. however, all we got was a lot of wind and rain, A LOT of rain, as you can see. That is our neighbors ditch my husband is floating in. We thought it would be funny to put the bass hunter in the ditch and float around in it. Kolby had so much fun floating around in it. He DID NOT want to get out. Even when he was shaking from being cold. He was too cute. We had SO MUCH fun!!

Kolby is a climber for sure. Yesterday I walked into his room and found him sitting on top of his dresser eating car teddy grahams watching his TV.

With us moving in 3 weeks things are crazy here, so his room is kinda crazy. well, right next to his dresser there was a box with stuffed animals in it and for some reason he likes to sit in it. I thought that was how he was getting up there so I moved the box. That was not the case. So today I went in his room and caught him on top of his dresser and thought I would just see exactly how he does it.

I just love Kolby's new haircut. I think it suits his personalty perfectly. When he is doing something that he is not suppose to be doing and I look at his hair, I just want to laugh because he reminds me of a little rascal.


Josh likes it because it makes him look tough(badass as he would say)I like it because I get to fix his hair and the trick for him letting me put the gel in his hair is he brushes his teeth at the same time:-) He loves brushing his teeth(he says teet),so it all works out for us both.

Kolby's 2nd birthday was July 13th and yes I'm over two weeks late posting anything about it, but I as you can see I just started my blog not too long ago, so I have an excuse :-).

Ok, so I decided a while ago to do his birthday in Elmo because at the time he was all about Elmo(he says "Melmo") and so as a surprise for Kolby I decided to make an Elmo costume for his Pappy to wear at his birthday party.

I worked on Elmo the 2 days before Kolby's birthday(I should not have waited the last minute, it drove me crazy), but I got it done!

Ok, so we are partying and Elmo comes out and Kolby was scared of him. Which broke my heart so much. However, after almost everyone went home I decided to dress up in the costume and he finally came around.

The funny thing is about a month or so before Kolby birthday was introduced to the disney movie Cars and thought Lightning McQueen was the coolest. He would watch that movie everyday more than once. It was tooooo cute!! So for his birthday he got so much Lightning McQueen stuff, poor Elmo. One of the gifts was a pair of crocs shaped like Lightning McQueen and when he first got them he wouldn't wear them, he actually threw them in the trash. Can you believe that he threw them in the trash. He loves the Lightning McQueen power wheels his daddy found for him. He had a good time and got great gifts. Thanks everyone!!!!!

FUN FUN FUN!!!

Kolby and I had so much fun playing with sidewalk paint. At first he didn't know whether or not he should play in it or not. I had to keep showing him how to play in it, but after a while he kinda got the hang of it. I can't wait to play in it again!
